The Makishima Plant can be seen on weekdays with advance reservation.

5 Trying to prepare matcha and drinking matcha

Tea leaves are examined in the natural light of a north turned window in a black walled room.

Please enter the room to feel the atmosphere. However, tea will only be served in the hall.

We can give you some hints on how to make a bowl of tea. Matcha is served with a matcha sweet.

Monday through Friday. However, during the early May harvest sometimes on Saturdays as well. Please inquire.

10AM to 12PM and 1PM to 4PM

Admission free.

Fresh teas and other products can be bought at our plant shop. You may also enjoy our delicious matcha or hojicha soft ice on the cone.
